Check the garment

Read the fabric-care label and the instruction card included with your transfer. Cotton, polyester, blends, and specialty fabrics may need different heat.

Set and warm the press

Use the exact temperature, time, and pressure on your PRINTHAUS instructions. Let the press reach temperature before beginning.

Prepare a flat surface

Keep seams, zippers, buttons, and pockets away from the print area. Pre-press for 3–5 seconds to flatten the garment and remove moisture.

Position the transfer

Place the printed adhesive side against the garment with the clear carrier facing up. Confirm alignment before closing the press.

Press without interruption

Apply the specified pressure for the full time. Do not lift early, slide the garment, or change the recipe during the press.

Peel exactly as directed

Hot, warm, and cold peel are not interchangeable. Remove the carrier smoothly at the instructed temperature; finish-press only when your instructions call for it.

Before the first wash

Allow the decoration to rest for at least 24 hours unless the supplied instructions specify a longer wait.

Wash gently

Turn the garment inside out, use cold water and mild detergent, and avoid bleach or fabric softener on the decoration.

Protect the print

Hang dry when possible or tumble dry on low. Never iron directly over the transfer.

What artwork works best?+

A transparent PNG at 300 DPI gives the cleanest result. JPG files work too, but any background in the file will print.

What does “effective DPI” mean?+

It is the resolution your file has at the size you place it. Enlarging artwork lowers its effective DPI; the builder calculates this live.

Can designs overlap?+

Yes, when intentional. The builder flags overlaps so you can confirm the arrangement before ordering.

What size is the gangsheet?+

Every PRINTHAUS gangsheet is exactly 12 inches wide. You choose the length that fits your project.

How quickly will my order be ready?+

Print-ready orders paid before 2:00 PM Central qualify for next-business-day production. Orders submitted after the cutoff, on Sundays, or on holidays begin the following business day.

Where is local pickup?+

Pickup is free at 10200 Allende Ave, Mission, TX 78573, Monday–Saturday from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. Please wait for a Ready for Pickup notice before arriving.

How much is shipping?+

Shipping is $6.95 within Texas and $8.95 to the contiguous United States. PRINTHAUS selects USPS or UPS during fulfillment and sends tracking when your label is created.
