Print with confidence

Artwork that is
ready for the press.

Use this guide before uploading your designs. The builder will help identify common issues, but your final approval controls exactly what enters production.

01

Use transparent artwork

Transparent PNG files work best. JPG backgrounds are not removed automatically and will print as part of the design.

02

Build at print size

Place each design at the exact width and height you want on the finished transfer. Enlarging a small file lowers its effective resolution.

03

Aim for 300 DPI

300 effective DPI is recommended for crisp detail. The builder checks resolution at the size each design will actually print.

04

Review every edge

Keep artwork inside the 13-inch sheet boundary. Check overlap alerts, small details, spelling, and orientation before approval.

Recommended files

Clean files make
clean transfers.

Best choice

Transparent PNG, sized for the intended print dimensions, with 300 DPI effective resolution.

Also accepted

JPG artwork can be used when a printed background is intentional. Uploaded color profiles may be converted during production.

Avoid when possible

Blurry screenshots, thumbnails, heavily compressed files, faint transparency, tiny text, and artwork copied from social media.

Important color note

Monitors emit light while DTF uses printed ink. Small color differences can occur between your screen and the finished transfer.
